Now here are the other reasons why I hated this book:įrom the beginning I was confused on why she decided to marry him. Yes they were apart for a few days but being apart does not equal to making up for your mistakes. They just got back together after that forced kiss. There was no real apologising scene or making up scene for how much Hug mistreated Ev. He even admitted out loud that he did not trust her after 250pages of living together. I do not get how this was supposed to be the start of a healthy and happy relationship. There were multiple scenes in this book where he put everyone's opinion above hers and clearly showed how he did not trust her at all and would choose everyone over her. He is an awful love interest that has zero trust in Ev and treats her like a child.
